Simon, from Christchurch, New Zealand, wished to make the trip more unforgettable so brought a bottle of beer plus some marshmallows to roast. He utilised an extra tent peg which he took with him on the 1,312ft (400m) deep descent towards the lava river, where temps reached greater than 1,100 Degrees.A seasoned volcano specialist,Bradley has made the descent towards the lava river 12 times in the past time - nearly 3 miles of rappelling.Bradley, who shot the pictures with a point-and-shoot camera, disclosed droplets of lava spat from the lake, called as lapilli, have wrecked camera equipment and even burnt him in the past.
He mentioned: 'It ended up being one of the most perfectly-cooked marshmallows I've ever tasted.
'Perfect and crusty externally without being burned - it had the perfect amount of a gooey centre but without getting it all over your all fingers.
'We dangled the marshmallow out over the lava lake where the glowing heat was at it's hottest, so it did not take too much time to cook.'
It would be so POETIC if a COW pushed him in....
